"Let England Shake", de PJ Harvey, foi eleito pela equipa do site Cotonete como o Melhor Álbum Internacional de 2011. O disco da cantora inglesa sucede a "The Suburbs" dos Arcade Fire (em 2010), "Fever Ray" de Fever Ray (em 2009) e "Third" dos Portishead (em 2008), que obtiveram iguais distinções.
Outra artista inglesa figura no pódio, Anna Calvi, através do seu álbum homónimo de estreia, que obteve o segundo lugar na lista deste ano. "El Camino" dos Black Keys, apesar de recentemente editado, ainda foi a tempo de alcançar a terceira posição.
